Kareena takes a U- turn to avoid Shahid Kapoor see full story Kareena vs Shahid Kapoor

On Thursday evening, an array of filmi stars descended at a Worli sports club for an award ceremony. And as expected there was plenty of drama.

Mirror learnt that after what happened at a previous function - when Amitabh Bachchan and Rekha greeted each other with a namaskar while Jaya and she found plenty to talk about after years of cold war, and the pictures went viral, Big B avoided the red carpet. Instead, Abhishek and he, chose to make a backdoor, or rather backstage, entry.

Backstage was where all the action was. When Shahid Kapoor was feverishly rehearsing for his stage performance, ex-girlfriend Kareena Kapoor walked in. While one may think the former lovers would make small talk, fact is that as soon as she spotted Shahid, Kareena did a quick U-turn. She waited till he had left before returning to practice her own act.

No points to her for originality though. Mirror has unearthed that Kareena ended up dancing to the same tunes in the same fashion as she had at a recent ceremony. Although one may think Salman was in a genial mood, having given Shah Rukh Khan another jadoo ki jhappi on stage to which the latter had responded with a Jai Ho, he was in no mood to share free hugs with Vivek Oberoi who made several trips to the stage (required as well as voluntary).

Said an eye-witness, "It was evident that Vivek wanted to bury the hatchet, but despite being on stage together, Salman gave him the cold shoulder, more than once." The actress who was responsible for Vivek's feud with Salman, sensibly decided to stay away from the ceremony and its host who once was her khaas dost.

Actress Juhi was scared to play villain in 'Gulaab Gang'

Actress Juhi Chawla, known for playing bubbly, vivacious and lovable characters on screen, had her reservations about playing a villainous politician in her forthcoming film "Gulaab Gang".

But she is glad that she finally took up the role in the movie, which also stars her contemporary Madhuri Dixit.

"When I read the script, it was great, but by the end of it, I said 'Why will I do this role? People will not believe me if I do this role'. But Finally, when I took it on, I thought it will be fun to do something different," Juhi told reporters here during a promotional event for the movie.

"I am really glad I am being accepted as a villain today. I was scared whether people will accept me this way or start laughing on my dialogues," she added.

The movie on women empowerment is directed by Soumik Sen.

Juhi has enjoyed the experience of filming "Gulaab Gang" and says Madhuri has turned out to be her "best co-star".

"Madhuri has been my best co-star, that says it all. It was wonderful. Just before we both started shooting, Soumik called both of us to his office and he left the room and it was just both of us.

"Really, we had not interacted with each other earlier, so we got (a chance) to know each other and that exercise helped us a lot," she said.

Madhuri also conceded: "We enjoyed working with each other. Unless you don't have warmth for each other, you can't work together. I enjoyed working with Juhi and it's great finally we worked together."

The movie, slated to release March 7, talks about pink sari-clad women activists who protest against the social injustice against women in the Bundelkhand region of central India.

Superman/Batman Movie will be Pushed Back to 2016

HI FRIEND VIEW THE NEWS OF THIS SITE, YOU CAN MORE INFORMATION OF THIS SITE ...................... VIEW SITE
Warner Bros. Pictures announced on Friday afternoon that they were pushing back the release of the sequel to last summer's "Man of Steel" a full 10 months from the original date of July 17, 2015 to May 6, 2016.

The project has been under intense scrutiny since last summer when it was announced that Henry Cavill's Superman would be going face-to-face (or jaw-to-jaw) against Batman, played by Ben Affleck. It was also announced in December that Gal Gadot — the Israeli co-star of the most recent "Fast & Furious" — was also joining the cast as the iconic super heroine, Wonder Woman.

In a statement, the studio said that the decision to change the release date was made to allow returning director Zack Snyder and his crew, "time to realize fully their vision, given the complex visual nature of the story." But moving the film to the next calendar year also gets it out of an already over-stuffed 2015 summer movie season. New installments of "The Avengers," "Jurassic Park," "Terminator," "Fantastic Four," and "Fast & Furious" are all scheduled to hit screens next year.

It is interesting that the DC Comics film would claim a spot in the first weekend of May in 2016, since that first slot of the summer movie season has been claimed by a Marvel Comics film for the past several years. Ever since the first "Iron Man" opened on May 2, 2008, there as been a Marvel-related film in the first weekend of May. Marvel had announced plans to open a film on May 6, 2016 back in June of last year, but they have not yet confirmed           which of their characters would be featured in it (the mystical "Dr. Strange" has long been rumored as a possibility). It remains to be seen if Marvel will steer clear of their DC rivals and change their release plans as well, or if we'll see a real comic-book showdown in cinemas that weekend.

The move is an interesting piece of the Marvel/Disney Warner Bros./DC rivalry for a couple of reasons: It takes Warners’ team-up of Ben Affleck’s Batman and Henry Cavill’s Superman out of the same summer as “Avengers: Age of Ultron” — and puts it squarely in the early-May zone that Marvel has owned since the gangbusters launch of “Iron Man” in 2008.

Warner Bros. also announced that replacing the "Man of Steel" sequel in its original release date would be their new version of Peter Pan. Directed by Joe Wright ("Atonement," "The Soloist"), this retelling of J.M. Barrie's classic is said to be an origin story of how Peter and Captain Hook came to be arch enemies. Hugh Jackman is reportedly set to play the villainous pirate Blackbeard in the movie.

There were unsubstantiated rumors earlier today that Ben Affleck had suffered a leg injury, but so far there have been no credible reports to confirm that. Affleck is scheduled to present at the Screen Actors Guild on Saturday, so we'll all see if he's limping or not.
